Alicia Windsong Diamond
Ms. Virginia Senior America 2018

Alicia Windsong Diamond, of Abingdon, Virginia, was crowned queen at the 2018 Ms. Virginia Senior America Pageant. Alicia holds a Master of Science degree in media communications, a Bachelor of Science degree in art, and has acquired many certifications in the healing arts. She is a specialist in immune health and has produced health education radio programs in rural communities. Alicia has taught art and interior design at undergraduate levels, as well as exhibiting her own paintings and photography. She studied voice on scholarship at a conservatory of music. She trained at Julliard and the Metropolitan Opera Studios. Alicia has sung many leading soprano roles, has presented recitals and concerts, and worked as a church choir director, soloist, and composer. Thirty-five years of yoga, meditation, and a vegetarian diet enables her to keep her active lifestyle. She enjoys painting, photography, and outdoor activities with horses. She is the author of several books, and is active in civic and arts organizations in her community.
